I posted this last night in the friday night bangers thread. I'm not a huge rock guy and not really a Nuge guy either but I gotta say Derek, on his own, pretty much has a heavy dose of everything I like most in music. Sadly overlooked by too many people. Killer vocals even in his later years (that's rare in rock), great look and stage presence, great guitar tone, and solid n soulful chops. Seems he's mostly playing the club circuit. Wish he'd hit a club in my area cause that is a show I would take the time to see. What a gem. Salute.

Looks like he's using a little Egnater here. He sounds awesome!!!

One of my favourite singers of all time. He is the key to all the good Td Nugent stuff. Without Derek my interest in Ted goes to damn near zero. Though “My Love is like a Tire Iron” rocks.

Nice. I feel the same way. I don't hate Ted but his over the top stage antics annoy me. Good vocals are more important to me at a show than guitar so I def prefer Derek, plus he doesn't seem like an ADHD kid on stage, lol.

Derek is awesome. A lot of people don't know that he played the first solo on this one:
