Sounds like you've been drinking TGP kool aid.Personally I like Atomic CLRs for FRFR because they're basically idealized PA speakers... or "studio monitors" that can get loud enough for gigs.

The boxes themselves? Nothing, I’m sure they are fine powered PA speakers. Didn’t mean to be snarky, esp about gear I have no experience with. I used to be active on TGP when these first came out and it was like a full court press of marketing and hyperbole.They sound great to me, and have for years. They do need subs if you want to go real full range with them but for guitar monitoring they're excellent.
