What are you guys' thoughts are these puppies.
Trying to decide which one to have sent out to have a go with.
Phantom seems to get alot of love.....Heard the spitfire 2 was cool too?
Any Thoughts??
Thanks!!

Never heard the diamond amps. I'm sure they sound good, but I would be worried about resale value. I would check out a Diezel Einstien or the new Bogner Uberschall as these amps seem told hold their value fairly well. Maybe completely wrong about Diamond's resale though :dunno:

I lost about $300 when I sold my Spec Op...But I wouldn't let that stop me from buying one. The one I had sounded good and had some really cool features like the dual gains and masters on channel two. Also, if you put a jumper in the effects loop, it turns the level into a global master. But in the end I got a Diezel Einstein which I prefer over the Diamond. I would spend as much time playing one before you buy one.

I have a diamond phantom, and had a diamond nitrox.... im thinking of selling phantom, what do u want to know. Very amazing amp, the clean is sparkly, unlike many other amps, it has a great hot rodded marshall zakk wylde tone, and then you can fire it up even more, great low end.... I played the spitfire, sounds like a classic rock amp, the phantom has more to offer, and recorded awesome in studio.

I guess it depends upon what kinda sounds you are looking for. I've played the Spec Op, Nitrox and the Spitfire. Spitfire sounds pretty cool but is a classic rock amp if won't get into metal territory to well...even with a boost. Haven't got the chance to play the Phantom but I hear it's supposed to be along the lines of a hot rodded Marshall.

I see this is an older post but I was wondering if you still have the Diamond Phantom amp for sale?
