messing around with the amp today, barely had the volume on at all. the bass was shaking my entire room. you can see the camera actualy moving around from the vibrations it was fukin awesome. this amp is a monster

shitty flip video clip but you get the idea of how it sounds in a room, check it out

played my M1 tiger with an emg 81x in the bridge, the cab has vintage 30's, and you know the deal just straight up guitar into amp into cab

Mesas are nice...They are quality. My Single Rec is awesome. To the point....no bells, just solid tone.

yea mesa is my favorite, i think they make the best amps for the money

Sounds great, theres something about the t-verb i like over the solo head.

Sounds great. I can never get any Mesa I play to sound that good

gota read the manuals ... once your used to dialing em in they sound godly

Sounds awesome! My trem-o-verb doesn't have that much bass. What are
Your settings?

81x huh. I know you used the standard 81 for a long time, what do you think of the 81x compared to the 81?

Clip is great man, you have the goods for dialing in a Mesa amp. I am astounded that this is unboosted. What volume is this at? Loop bypassed? May have to take a lesson from you in person someday. I like how you have your rig propped up with wood blocks, probably helps the sound, but I'm not so sure I would be so bold as to take that chance with so much good gear on top of $20 worth of wood hahah!

thanks man,

the 81x is cool, but i still like to regular 81s a little better. this pickup just kind of works in this guitar, since it only has a bridge pickup. the cleans actually sound decent with the 81x in there.

its funny because the amp is barely even on lol, the loop is bypassed and the channel volume is at about 8:30. this is an extremely loud amp and i dont know why haha. i had a solo head and a roadster and they werent nearly as loud as this thing is.

and yea the wood blocks i bought at target, they were made for elevating a mattress frame higher off the floor, there are little grooves for wheels to sit in so it sits in there nice and snug. im not too worried cuz its propped against the wall and doesnt really get bumped into at all .... believe me its safe or else i wouldnt have done it

i actualy just changed them and i dont remember the ones from the video but il snap a pic of the newer ones i just came up with. i think they sound better.

these are the newer settings, the loop is bypassed and you cant really tell in the pic but the prescence is at 9:00

Wow, you have the bass at 11:00, I have to have my bass on 3:00 to get really bassy and huge, but even then it really isn't very thick,

i find that when you tunr the bass past 12:00 it not only starts to loosen up the amp but it kills the cut and clarity and makes the bass flubby

right about there its punchy as hell and still pretty damn bassy

I just tried those settings and they sound pretty damn good! I have a question, for you and anyone else who owns a tremoverb. When you're on the red channel, and you flip the switch form blues to modern, does it get louder for a split second, then go back down in volume? This happens on my tremoverb, and I was just wondering if it is normal.

when i switch it to blues it does get louder but the volume doesnt drop down at all, it just stays louder.
