Did anyone order a Port City cabinet recently?

Well my Port City cabinet came in today. Expecting a 212 OS unloaded cabinet, I actually got a 212 standard with two eminence cannabis rex speakers...

Just wondering if anyone on here ordered one to see If i got their cab, that would quite funny...depending on your sense of humor
I dont mind so much about the size but i seem to have gotten 2 free speakers when i payed for the unloaded 212 OS

I just ordered some WGS retro 30's last week which just shipped today, so i guess im stuck with 4 speakers!

I am really interested in getting a Port City 212. I am getting older and wiser and want a large 212 that is lighter than your average 212 but has great projection and easy to move around. I am thinking of replacing my current cabinets with a few Port City 212 cabs, one standard and one OS212.

Slightly OT but does anyone have any experience with their 4x12's? All I ever hear about from them is the 2x12's and I'm wondering if the 4x12's are worth it.

The standard 4x12 sounds awesome! It is smaller than a typical 4x12 but because of the port, it sounds very punchy and full. Not a fan of the OS4x12. A little too compressed and loose for my taste. Greg Howe was using the standard 4x12 for a while. Don't know if he still does.

You seem quite happy that they screwed your order up. Wasn't there a reason you chose the OS over the standard in the first place?

I know they messed up. But if what they sent was more expensive than what you ordered...then I'd personally feel obligated to be honest and at least bring it to their attention. If it was cheaper then no worries I guess.....just sayin'

Hell, I'd keep the 212 standard as I prefer it over the OS anyways. Even better, you got two eminence cannabis rex speakers w/ it...BONUS!
