I guess I have always used sweetwater wrong. I just find what I want on the website and order it. If I ever have a question, I generally ask guys here. They always call to ask if you are satisfied, which I get is a cool thing to do, but it always seemed unnecessary so I quit answering the phone..

Don't get the hype with them. I don't need a guy who knows less about gear than me calling me every month.
Bigger issue is they're also consistently the most expensive online retailer. Every time I buy something there is ALWAYS someone somewhere offering 10% off or no taxes or interest free payments (or D all of the above)...except Sweetwater. Even when seeing if they'll price match something they either don't or they then don't offer some other benefit in exchange for price match.
Some of y'all need to learn to make friends instead of talking to a salesman.

Not trying to sell you on Sweetwater but have you been to the facility? If there is something you want to try out and they have it in stock in the warehouse, they'll send a "runner" there and will bring it back, unpack it and let you try it out. It is a pretty good sized facility.
Like someone said, I'll do my research here on RT and just buy thru them. They've always been great with returns, purchases, etc.

Some of us love to give SW shit but in 20 yrs for me they have never F'd up an order, the're always on time and super fast shipping.

I agree for the most part. Except for the super fast shipping. They used to ship same day and since I am not far (2 hours) I would have it next day.
I ordered a pedal from them a few weeks ago and I didn't see if for 6 days. It didn't even leave SW for 3 days.
