When Dave was still putting out the Marsha, it looked identical to a Marshall with the exception of the nameplate. However, the nameplate basically said 'Marshall' on it as well, except for two missing letters!
If some other builder came out with an amp that looked identical to the Dirty Shirley, and the builder put a nameplate on the front of it that said "Freedman", Dave would probably have an issue with that as well.
Copyright and trademark laws exist for a reason. To protect companies like Marshall..........and Friedman.
I saw where Marshall released some offset face plate amps this year (similar to the DS, BE). Maybe Dave's attorneys should ask Marshall to cease and desist.
