First off, not that there's an implied honeymoon phase with this thing, but to me, it really sounds nice. What I like about it is it sounds vastly different than a lot of other amps out there today. Always a PLUS in my books. I suppose if Peter wanted to create a 'modded Marshall' sound, he'd go on and create one - hell, this was his pedigree back in the day, it's not as though he's attempting to recapture the Marshall era sound, he's been there, done that. Diezel said it's time to move FORWARD, and their amps prove this. For anyone wanting an authentic KERRANG amp, buy an old Plexi or scour the classifieds for a used modded Marshall. Simple.
As for Reza's post - FX and all, I can say without a doubt this has been the BEST video and audio example to date. I mean shit, we had blurry, fuzzy, iPhone footage from messe, no? And Niilz did a good job for sure, but wasn't as methodical going from channel to channel as Reza's post. And let's not forget, truly, as players, we could all spend and SHOULD spend about 1 hour on EACH channel of a new amp to truly get a sense of what it's capable of. Then there's low, medium and high volume environments. Then there's room dynamics. Then there's the fact there are a lot of armchair critics here who've never posted one lousy clip going on about the inherent sonic qualities of an amp and giving their

C'mon, it's a new amp, it comes from a reputable source, and the 2nd person to get one in the USofA managed to throw down 6+ minutes of a sweetass video for all of us wanting to know. That alone gets my 2 thumbs up of approval, and honestly, I think the thing kills from 1 to 4, period.
+1
Amp sounds incredible and the video is great- captures alot in only 6 minutes. Thanks Reza!
