Diezel Paul vs Shiva 20th Anniversary

Hi folks,

Would there be any similarities in tone between these 2 amps?

Both outstanding amps. I really liked them both. I wouldn't classify them as similar, though. The Paul still has the "Diezel" tone. Plenty of low end and tons of gain. The Shiva just has a different thick low-mid bark to it. I think cleans on both amps are great as well. Kind of depends on what you're looking for as to which one I would suggest.

Do you consider the Diezel to be more aggressive than the Shiva?

No. Although the Paul can get pretty aggressive, I think the Shiva is more aggressive.

Never played a Paul but the 20th Anny Shiva can get pretty snarling/mean/aggressive. Great feel to it under the fingers!

I'd actually think the Paul was meaner, I've owned both - the Paul is amazing!
