Diezel VH4 Footswitch

Would the footswitch linked below work just for a simple channel switcher for the Diezel VH4? Shopping sweetwater since I have a gift card so any recommendations welcomed as well. Just need a simple one to switch between the channels. Thanks!!

Or if I got the Fractal VP4 could that control it as well?

You just need a very simple Midi Switch. you can get it for a few bucks. VH4 is not able to receive anything more than PC commands. So as long as you do not need to control any other midi devices with the same switch 300 Bucks is waste of money

I use the Actition midi controller. Very simple four switch box.

I have been using a Rocktron Midi Mate for 14 years. I imagine they aren't too pricey used. I don't do anything complex. It's simply going IN to the VH4, and I set it up so that I can access each channel with -or- without my effects loop engaged for each channel (8 MIDI channels total). I've been using it like that for 14 years with no issues.

My only complaint is the little rubber feet came off of the bottom of the Midi Mate pretty easily.

You're also going to need the MIDI out/in cable to go from the pedal to the amp, so maybe some of your gift card can go toward that? The nice thing is that the VH4 provides phantom power to the Midi Mate, so you won't need to use a power adapter. One less wire and plugin to worry about.
