I've just thrown a Sm57 in front of my Cab. Setting is the same i had dialed in after 5 minutes with the amp. I haven't touched it since then.
I did play the other channels a little bit, but i mostly stayed on Channel 3. I also compared it to my Lenz Octane Marshall and yesterday i got the Ibanez 808 HW V2.
So i compared both Amps and both boosts.
A while ago i was curious how my SM58 would sound instead of the SM7 that i had. I sold a few Mics a few years ago and i only kept the 57, the D112 and the 58.
I made a clip of that, but i didn't share it here. So now you have the pleasure of listening to my voice-mic test as well :D
It was simply the last project in my DAW i had opened.
Guitars and Bass are raw. I have a "Tape Presence" and a Mastering Plug-in on the sum, but nothing else.

Reminds me why I moved off Diezels. High end articulation isn't there for me.
Like a low pass filter is permanently applied.

Your Lenz clips sounded insanely good dude, that amp is definitely more my bag.

I did like ch2 on my VH4 for low gain noodling though, very unique.

Dope riffs as usual 🤘🏽 I personally dig the Diezel tone & especially the feel (low end response). So @Simon Dorn you have to give us your opinion on the Diezel. Is she a keeper or sending her back?

I'm glad you like it. :)
I have a few more Clips (and a comparison) to share.
Right now i have a clear tendency, but i haven't decided yet.

That is *exactly* how I always describe Diezel tone, like a low pass filter is applied early in the chain. There's a lot of high treble harmonics from the distortion, sure, but the fundamental sound of the string detail just isn't there.

Don't mean to rain on the parade though, OP's tone is still cool and fits the vibe for sure.

My modded Marshall suits me much better. The Diezel does not take boosts at all in the 3. and 4. Channel.

The Marshall you can dial how much high end you want. With the Diezels you can only do this to a certain extend because some of the frequencies aren’t there in the first place

Cool tones still though!

In the Mix it's good.
