I'm running 4CM with my Marshall, but it still seems to color the tone, bypassing amp/cabs. Hoe can I run this thing like stompboxes in the loop? I just want effects, and keep my Marshall's tone 100%, with my boost up front?? There's so many options/loops, I just want to run to effects send/return and two cables, like I did with my reverb, chorus and delay??? Which in's/out's??

The key is the setting the output level right. I played an iPB-10 in 4CM with my Powerball II and it was awesome. The iPB is basically an RP-1000 on the inside with a few upgrades. The iPB had an output level knob right on the back panel, which made it very easy to set right, and I know the RP-1000 doesn't have that. Hopefully there's an easy way to adjust the Global Output volume. Usually, it's too high, and that's when you get the tone coloration.

if you just want your RP1000 effects in the loop, just feed the amp FX loop send and return into the unit ,i'd try 'input' and 'left output (mono)' and then set your patches accordingly
