DiMarzio humbuckers doubt

I have swapped pickups in the same EBMM silhouette special, and seem this pickup is not what it should be.
Is the third time i put the Transition on the bridge; or is my pickup to be wrong, or it is bright, crunchy and feel like it need a 250 pot. Had the TZ before and it was all bass and mids (the description on the site is spot on), the Transitions should have less bass and even less high, people say it is dark, but i found it bright and harsh. Someone tried the DP255 can confirm? Probably i put back the Norton.

Found this from Larry Dimarzio on youtube

The Transition is brighter, tighter & hotter than the AT-1. The Norton has brighter highs, but the Transition has brighter lows and more output.

To me the Norton isn't brighter, but more polished and balanced... maybe my pickup have something wrong. I'll try to measure it.

I measure the pickups and the DC is correct.
So i solved with warmer strings (Nanoweb), and a different set-up; have the 2 pivots high and the saddles low makes a big difference!
Put back the Transiotion, and is sweet even on cleans.
