Great sounding amp, can anyone identify what's being played at 2:52? Kind of sounds like STP.

Might just be James doing his own thing but it sounds familiar. The riff only lasts a few seconds.

After going through all the STP songs, the part definitely resembles a part from STPs - Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart.

But it's definitely Led Zeppelin.

No. You'll need a boost to get to STP. It's more in the classic rock vein.
