Dirty Tele tone

Teles have been a longtime fav of mine. I was messing around the other day with my Tele through my Mesa and made a very short test clip to see how it sounded on camera. Anyone else got any raunchy Tele tones recorded?

LP Freak has some videos of when we were demoing a bunch of amps at his house. I was playing my tele exclusively. All single coil pickups, no stacks or humbuckers, but the tones would still get pretty raunchy and also clean up nice. He posted the clips on You Tube and maybe on here somewhere too. I can't put them up but maybe he can. Good idea of what a tele sounds like through a bunch of different high gainers.

A tele style guitar is my next axe for sure.. something so iconic and raw about the tone. Makes me think about Tom Keifer and Cinderella. He always had such raw tones.

I have a great Charvel Esquire...single Duncan Quarter Pounder in the bridge... it is heavy as hell and nice and clear...twang from hell!

Ourworldisgrey, the neck pickup is stock. The bridge pickup is a Dimarzio Chopper T.

I played it's twin and feel the same way. Only reason I past on it was because I have the same finish on a strat.

Yeah I'm kicking myself now. Wanted a blonde or butterscotch finish.
