I'm running my distortion pedals into a KSR PA 50, and I think they sound pretty damn good to me. Especially the Ceres and thrasher pedal!

It just never works for me. Something my ear hates

I had that one for a little bit and it was good. I personally think I can get the best most amp like tones out of a distortion pedal by keeping the gain low. Really low. Of course then I boost it for more.

I'm just learning the magic of stacking myself ................... I've got a few projects I'm starting to design with basically 2 pedals in one ..... the first one I'll probably do is the screamer with the Klon ..... man does that one work

Oooh, I like it. One the other or both. With an additional overall presence/treble knob and a ‘boost only’ switch for each side

I've used a Bogner Ecstasy Blue, and La Grange (both full size versions), and they were both great. I currently am screwing around with a Suhr Riot mini and its pretty killer too, though I'm thinking I'd like to try a Suhr Eclipse so I can have one side set up for a Strat, the other side set up for humbuckers.
