Today is the anniversary of my cousin's death. He died on September 11th 2002 on impact in a motorcycle accident. He was only 15. I saw him minutes before he died. I was drawn back to give him a hug before I left I don't know why but I am thankful I did. I was 12 at the time. He was like a brother and always tereated me well and included me in whatever he was doing. Cool guy. Too damn young to die.

So if you don't mind, do a shot in honor of him, send up a prayer/positive vibe, and for all of you who ride, ride safe.

My whole family falls apart on this day. Any kind words are so appreciated.

Also if you love somebody, TELL THEM. I am glad I told him. You never know what can happen in the next minute or hour. I tell my loved ones and friends love them all the time and I always will.

Roy, I love you brother and you will never be forgotten, thanks for the time we had, and someday I will see you on the other side.

Sorry for your loss & memories of it all. :salute: :salute:

Will certainly do a (brandy) shot right now brother!

Rest in peace, Roy.

You are so right when you say to always tell your loved ones you love them, I learned that lesson one morning 19 years ago when I left for work and said goodbye to my grandmother. My little brother also died unexpectedly almost ten years ago, I still have the image of the last moment I saw him burned into my memory. My condolences to you and your family.

So sad to hear about your loss of Roy and how much he meant to you, brother. My heart bleeds for you man; I know all about loss.

It's as you say: At least there's that little silver lining that you had the wisdom and balls to tell him that you loved him, and the intuition to have that hug.

Thank you brother. My heart is still bleeding.

As I'm sure you know, it'll get better over time.

Eventually only good memories will dominate and the tragic ones, the knee-weakening and spirit-breaking ones, will pale into insignificance.

Hang in there bro'.

i hate it for you brother. it is tough but it does get better. things like that change us though.
