Do any of you guys use Fuzz(s) at all ???

maybe ..... but I struggle to make Germanium circuits sound good myself ...

I'm not really a everything revolves around my volume knob kind of guy ..... but if you set up a whole rig based around doing that .... the results can be pretty gnarly !

sparkling cleans you can't get from just an amp .... and then you roll up your volume and it's full on Hendrix time ..
That turned into my playing approach 5 years or so ago. It's an art to get really good with the volume knob but I enjoy it so much more that just having everything cranked all the time on the guitar. Just to make the learning more of a challenge, I bought a Les Paul Jr. Dc. 1 P90, 1 volume,1 tone, all Rock and Roll!

I'm in the middle of picking out a few fuzzes to do .....

I just finished the board for a Skreddy P19 ....

need a couple of more

Which is probably why I've never heard a convincing clone of one
I didn't realize the Meathead was a silicon Fuzz ..... I thought all the D.A.M. stuff was Germanium .... I've got a D.A.M. '' 66 clone I built that I love ..... it's got a switch that turns it into the Super Bee ...

I'll do some digging ... see what I come up with

My all time favorites are the ‘70’s Foxx Tone Machine and ‘90’s Russian Big Muff. I also really like the Keeley Fuzz Bender, but am not crazy about Tone Bender style pedals

I don't use fuzz a ton, but my musket big muff style fuzz gets the most use. Also have a Si Fuzzface and a Superfuzz.

On my wish list is the crazy tube circuits constellation fuzz, which has a Treble booster and GE fuzz in the same box.

I've got a Muskett clone kicking around somewhere .... one of the first PCB's I ever did ...

cool circuit!! that sucker can get brutal

A few Roger Mayer fuzzes, a few EH Big Muff types (4), some Tru-Fi fuzzes too.

Had the Dunlops as well. Old demo of one-

Catalinbread Karma Sutre (Germanium)
M.I. audio Blues Pro on it’s fuzz setting but used as a boost, level 1 O’Clock, Gain 10 O’Clock.
Actually use the Karma Sutre more as a boost too. With the low end control it can be tailored for any guitar or amp.

The DAM meathead is a great idea

Boss FZ-1W or FZ5 would be cool

Maybe an analogman sun lion
I'm going to do 3 of them i think .... the Meathead is a good one .... unfortunately parts sourcing for some of the cooler fuzzes can be tough .... or real expensive ...
