Zvex Fat Fuzz Factory and DOD Carcosa is usually my preference.
These are extremely versatile fuzz types.

It's really difficult to beat a DOD Carcosa. I absolutely recommend checking it out.

I don't use fuzz very often these days.

Been down the rabbit hole.
Still have a couple of Muffs, fuzz face, Foxx tone. Tone Bender and treble booster are favs.

Fulltone Octafuzz. Went to shop and compared a few, the tonal quality of this was miles above. Sounded and felt like recordings. The others seemed cheap and fake. It’s funny when this happens. I’ve played amps and things people rate and they sound not “real” or “pro” if that makes sense.

I'm not a fan of most fuzz boxes; I don't like the spitting sound. I've seen some videos with the fuzz factor and velvet fuzz that I might like at lower settings, but then you are getting into distortion territory. Depending on whether you consider muffs fuzz or not, I've got the V1 and a tone wicker, but I don't use them much.
