Not real often. Maybe once a year. Maybe even less frequently than that. Also I wouldn't shop for lamb - my wife does. So I don't know how much it costs. You don't eat lamb?
I would normally eat Pork, Chicken or beef.

Woolworths is a grocery store there ? You really are polar opposites. You can look at the prices of everything @ say www.woolworths.com.au
You can even probably look up the price of a kangaroo steak lol - they aren't everyday fare... however I've bought them a few times in my life.
Fish is pretty pricey but yeah I'd have that more than lamb... maybe once every few months in one form or another.Woolworths is a grocery store there ? You really are polar opposites.
And how can you not eat fish ? You're surrounded by them.![]()
We have Aldi and IGA, but Costco is a members only thing like Sam's Club. There hasn't been a Woolworths here in my memory and when they were it was a drug store.Fish is pretty pricey but yeah I'd have that more than lamb... maybe once every few months in one form or another.
Woolworths, Coles, Aldi and IGA would be the biggest ones here I guess... Aldi and IGA have a smaller presence than the first two. We have a few Costco's scattered around too.
Also the sharks eat all the fish so there aren't many left ;-)
Lamb is not my favourite meat that's for sure but it has its place. It's ok when it's marinated or roasted for a sunday roast - but I don't like greasy "lamb chops". I'm a member of costco... got cheap-er hearing aids and glasses there. We have Aldi and IGA, but Costco is a members only thing like Sam's Club. Dude, you've missed out.I don't know that I've ever eaten lamb.
The only lamb I really have mixed feelings about is undercooked lamb, or back in the 70s growing up we (specifically my Mum) used to get lamb chops and grill them under the electric griller under the oven (back when you had a separate electric grill under the oven) ie. grilled chops... It had a very distinctive smell and these days I don't remember it real fondly.Dude, you've missed out.
Distinct overall flavour, stronger in adult sheep (mutton), but my fave thing about it is when the fat is rendered nicely.
Yes roast lamb done with rosemary and mint sauce is nice - that was common!Yup, same here mate - gotta be well-cooked and of course that tasty fat rendered.
Roast leg with rosemary and mint sauce. Chops. Yum.
Every year for Australia Day the iconic Australian Lamb advertisement is released. You'll enjoy this year's - it's very applicable to Rig-talk - no kidding lol
