Maybe it's time to change the thread's title then bro'.

Maybe something like, "At first I thought Sweetwater was destroying the industry, but on second thoughts they just might be alright".

I mean, as things stand peeps are gonna draw false conclusions if they only see the title and don't read the thread.

If SweetWater isnt a Monopoly or doing anything illegal right I don't see an issue and well there really isn't an issue here in that sense..... As many seem to believe and believe for a fact according to the law NVM whatever I say or anyone else's opinion on the debate/matter.....



Officially SweetWater is a perfectly fine business that ain't a Monopoly, ain't conducting slave labor or anything else wrong and aint doing anything wrong and does everything 100% by the book and according to current American law.....

And who ever wants to present that argument is free to do so and I won't stand in the way of them or what they have to say or think on that matter regarding such subject(s)..... Its a completely understandable point of view that I really can't challenge anyone not to believe if that is what they believe.....

That is their choice to believe whatever they want to as much as anyone elses choice to believe whatever they want. I'm merely providing an opposing view point and IMO right or wrong or false or right or whatever

You're now saying that in your opinion, fuck Sweetwater. Fine, but the syntax now suggests that the store is indeed destroying and has destroyed the music industry. It's that latter part of the title that actually matters here.

Sorry to have pushed you on this; I simply didn't want unsubstantiated allegations against the company to look like they're "true". IMHO it's earned its good reputation through hard work and doesn't deserve to be disparaged that way.

Right Brother Monkey Man-san I'm not the best at grammar admittedly and wasn't always an A student in English unfortunately thats for sure. My essays weren't half bad though for what it is

Competition is what America is all about and thankfully as said before there is Willcutt, Bizarre Guitars, Nstuff, Pitbull Audio, Moore Music.... Other places too like Music Zoo, Wild West Guitars, Walt Grace Vintage.....Nvm other big retailers Zzounds, MF, Guitar Center, American Musical Supply etc etc.


There are alternatives and some competition for sure and well SweetWater/Amazon isn't the only option right

Vs arguing about whatever else today Id like to take the opportunity to bring awareness to problems that unfortunately real people have to face........ from mental health, cancer or other diseases like ALS.

Awareness of these matters people deal with IMO is important and fortunately anyone can do their part to help in that way simply by being aware of these real issues kids, adults and people from many walks of life have to deal with and get through.......

Prayers sent to anyone dealing with these problems or anyone who knows anyone with these problems but IMO with awareness and attention to these matters things can be made better one day at a time and one person at time

Guitar Center has done more damage to the retail music equipment industry than anyone else, has garnered a reputation for not paying their bills, and has burger flippers posing as musicians who work there. They do have some actual musicians working there but they are only there as long as they can sustain the numbers of sales expected by the company,
They are replaced as soon as those numbers drop.
