Amazing how so many of y'all never post in the main. Many just sign up and straight to OTC to argue. Mostly about things y'all have no control over and many who have no clue about what they're referring to. It's pretty funny to see some of the "banter," but a few of you have ruined this place with your outright stupidity. Which wouldn't be so bad, if you actually played the guitar.

Personally I think metal players should be banned leaving the forum to fingerstyle and thumbpickers.

What is the point of pointy guitars? [Thumbpicker OTC, 2025]

What kind of test would we have ?

I'm not the forum owner ...yet. Would hope y'all would know what's reasonable. Would say a clip or two a year/ngd and a main participation rate of like 20% would be substantially higher than most OTC member rates at this point. :ROFLMAO: There are people here who haven't so much said a single thing about music since joining. There are people here who claim to be musicians, yet when they "participate" (less than 1%) of the time they ask questions that are so noobish, I doubt they've even walked into a guitar shop in their life. There are people here who solely post idiotic garbage, propaganda, rumors, misinformation, the complete dumbest level of it all, and nothing else.

Obviously, people can post whatever they want, but at some point they should ask themselves if this is really what they want to be doing with their life? That's what some have amounted to. Their entire life revolves around being an imbecile on a guitar forum.

So funny how fast the "muh freedom of speech" types descent into censorship.

Can you show us where that's been done? You're free to be a rabid moron who lives every single moment of their life with TDS, as I'm free to believe that you're a waste of oxygen with nothing to contribute to a guitar forum, let alone the world.

some crave attention, even if it means coming to a small guitar forum when they don't play guitar, or any other instrument, don't sing, and probably don't really care that much about music - as evidenced by their posts, and their lack of guitar / music related posts.

Maybe something like the classifieds here, you need 100+ gear / music / technique related posts in one or more of the gear / music / theory / etc. forums before you can post in OT. That would keep the homeless, wandering internet zombies from enjoying the free speech of RTOT until they're "citizens in good standing" at RT.

Actually she isn't. And at any rate freedom of speech doesn't apply in someone else's "House". The owners of this forum can ban you for whatever they want and they can moderate what you say. Their house, their rules.
Calling for bans isn't advocating censorship?
