I was having a conversation with a doomer coworker. Wasn't about politics, but as you know any good doomer must inject politics into every conversation possible ?‍♂️:ROFLMAO: Anyhow we were talking about A/C, and how men are usually hot-natured, and women are usually cold AF, needing heaters under their desks, etc..

Then he said, I've been conditioning myself to survive without A/C, driving with my windows down in 100+ degree heat. I said wait WTH? Why?

He said things are going to get sooooo bad under Biden we wont have A/C ?‍♂️

I work outside so I thought I was pretty much doing that anyways? Not sure what the point of bragging about it is.

I haven't had power and water multiple times under Biden. It might've been an ercot thing but I can blame anyone I want. Everyone else does.

So should I upgrade my system to that new propane shit or 410a….daddy has to stay cool.

If you are biting the bullet, propane is the way to go IMO. I think it will be the standard soon enough.

410a will still be available for a while, but it’s most likely going to get more expensive each year.

But really, either one is fine. Most of upkeep costs of an AC unit aren’t refrigerant ya know?

You’re in Texass ? Blame Abbot and your shitty grid.

You sound like one of my best buds (also MAGA) he flipped shit over the big grid failure here, and blamed Biden. I was like dude you realize Biden had nothing to do with that, right? He said yes, but since Trump was treated unfairly he's blaming Biden ?‍♂️ :hys:
I actually don't blame Biden for that. I think it was beyond anyone's control. Maybe, maybe not. It doesn't matter when your power and water is off, you just deal with it best you can. As we've previously discussed, TX infrastructure is pretty weak and you have people crowding in straining the system. Best way to handle it is just stay as ready as possible.

Left right black white blue red. On and on and on.
All the suckas line up in droves and vote in an exact replica of the last. The government still steals 1/2 my paycheck and HMO trying to drown me in debt. Nothing changes. I tapped out of the system a long time ago. 80's thrash taught me all I need to know about the government. I don't know how people can even participate in it or listen to it. I get sucked in sometimes still, but it's amazing how nothing changes despite whoever is in there. People are still under the facade that the president controls the country.

Honestly, you could live in the middle of nowhere, grow your own food, and not have health care at all. Die of all natural causes at an early age, etc..
All this with very limited government interaction/control.

So I say this not to convince anyone to bow down to the gov, but Tax is the price you pay to live in a modern society. But you can still just live off the land if you're willing to leave all the comforts behind.
