Hi guys, here's a clip we did with Doug during NAMM.

Damn, Dougs definately got the chops and the amp sounds great too.

Always love DR's vids. The dude can play!! Amp sounds fantastic!

Is this the 50 watter or the 100? Is all of it on channel 3? Sounds pretty great to me, gives a BE100 a run for its money, cheaper and more versatile in my opinion.

Killer Tones, the PWE Event Horizon is a Serious Contender.
You couldn't have picked a better player to Demo your amp,
Doug is a MONSTER!! He got such a Great sense for Melodic
Runs/Tones and his EVH Chops are "ON POINT".
GOOD STUFF!!

It's the 100 watt head, the same head that was reviewed in the Jan. 2013 issue of Guitar Player Magazine.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, much appreciated, and, yeah, Doug is a smoking player and one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Great sounding amp...killer chops of course -- Doug slays me every time.

What's the deal with that guitar? That is sweet looking...

Is this all done on channel 3? Would love to hear some bluesy stuff with a strat on channel 2

Thanks!

It's a prototype 24 3/4" scale set-neck with a Floyd and 2 humbucking pickups. I've been getting very positive feedback on it so it's going into production as a regular model. The finish is difficult to see from the video but it's a satin graphite sparkle.

This particular video is done on Channel 3. We did a bunch more with different guitars including a custom shop strat, tele, Knaggs, Asher, just off the top of my head. I'll be posting those as soon as we're done editing. We ran through every channel on the amp so you'll get to hear the whole range of tones.

$2999.00 including shipping to Canada and CON US.

Gonna be updating the website with prices and more specs and stuff.

Thanks!

Great stuff! I'm sure I could research it but what are the tonal differences of this version? I'm consistently surprised at the relatively small amount of talk the event horizon gets. Seriously one of the best amps out there!

Thanks Hoff! This version is 3 channels, channels 1 and 2 share EQ but have their own bright, gain and level controls. Channel 3 is essentially the same as it was in the previous version but with some tweaks to give it a wider range of gain and more touch response. The EH3 has the Marshall style clean exclusively. The back panel has 4 controls for the power section, Decelerator, Presence, Deep and Feedback which can be used to fine tune the overall response of the amp.

Smoking! That amp sounds as good as anything out there ive heard. Could have a lot to do with the player too. He wouldmake most amps sound awesome. But none the less, killer amp
