Dover Amplification Anyone?

I bought mine from Axe Palace. When I told them they said yeah they don't come with one but I pointed out the description from dover and on axe palace website lists one. They are supposed to be sending me a free one.


The only reason I noticed it didn't come with it is when I watched a Fortin Sigil unboxing video (same box) and dude pulled one out and I was like wtf I didn't get one with my Dover.


Same thing for the DA-50 no footswitch.

Oh man...My Axe Palace experience was horrid. Would never do business with them again. The owner is a two face lying sack based on my experience. Hate to even say this because of my utter disdain towards the guy, but if I'm to be 100% transparent here, he did eventually make it right by refunding me + let me keep the pickup I finally received after paying for it months in advance. But that was only after 4-5 months of dishonest egotistical B.S. responses and games.

My biggest question/concern to Dover support was about warranty and what other dealers in the U.S. they are lined up with aside from Axe Palace. Never got a response on that one.

I have had similar experiences as well as other people I know personally. Its a shame but people should know the risk of doing business with AxePalace.

I don't think I'm saying anything that nobody hasnt already figured out but this is the same amp as the Fortin Sigil which is made by dover, has the same switching, gain stages, layout etc. It even has the same box but says Fortin instead of Dover.

Fortin is 6V6 and Dover is EL84

Fortin is 6V6 and Dover is EL84

Look at the Victory VX The Kraken... Same amp again and same box.

Is this internet theory or fact that Dover is making the Sigil? I have a Sigil on order from Thomann but the delivery seems to be uber delayed and I may cancel...which means I still want something like this. Prefer the big glass of the Kraken if you are telling me these are all identical circuitry?

I have no idea if they are the same but they are all clearly made by the same company in England probably like a Boutique Amps Distribution just based on the fact that the dover and fortin look uber similar. The victory, fortin, and dover box that the amp comes in are identical except the company name.

This is the BEST video demo of the Dover.... Well because there really aren't any which is crazy that they didn't do any official ones.
