Strictly speaking, a Ferrari is also really overpriced and a ridiculous purchase... But if I had the cash for it, I would buy it.

I would probably still buy a Two Rock with the change, instead of that Dumble though.

I just somehow don't believe their value will increase enough for it to be an investment. I have, however, been wrong plenty of times in my life and this could be another one of those unfortunate incidents.

Sorry. There is no comparing the r&d and engineering that goes into a Ferrari compared to a guitar amplifier with a couple hundred dollars worth of parts.
They're worlds apart brother.

Of course they are... But they are still both ridiculous purchases, in some respect. With your sensible cap on... But when you start being a child with a blank cheque, that's when the fun can begin... Or something like that.

It's just like art work. Sure you can get some no name (or even a less known but accomplished artist) to commission a copy or a work inspired by an original, but the real deal always will be worth the big bucks.

Dumbles have transcended just being a well-regarded amp. Really part of the art market now. Good for anyone with a Dumble, and kudos to anyone with the cash to buy one.
