Dunable USA stuff… who’s got them? Thoughts?

So I have a DE Gnarwhal and it is pretty dope. Been looking at some good deals on a few USA builds but I’ve never tried one of those.

Anyone here rocking the the USA builds?

I was looking at a Gnarwhal on Reverb. It was a really cool purple metal flake finish. I almost pulled the trigger, but someone else beat me to it. I've never actually played one, but I'm definitely curious

I'm not actually sure if it was a USA model.

Have two R2s and love them both. Necks are a touch different between the two of them, one more of a Les Paul custom and the other a bit closer to between a 50s and 60s carve. One is quite a bit darker, I think due to the burl top, and came with their super hot passive the hellworm (think it’s like 17k or something). That was a bad match so I dropped a Lundgren Black Heaven in it which has been awesome.

I recently did a music store crawl where I ended up playing another 4 of the US series and each one held its own. I’ve really been eyeing a Gnarwhal Baritone to add to my stable

I’d really like to try one of these, but no one around me carries them. Do people just order and return if they don’t like it?

And scores a nice price on this one from May of 2025 off the Verb that will allegedly ship today.

I think people buy them and take a decent hit used if they don’t gel with them. I bought a DE Gnarwhal on a whim last year and LOVE it sonsaud “fuck it” and grabbed the ones above.

I was eyeing the black 9 string Bari Gnarwahl that was on reverb but just grabbed a Dingwall NG3 and missed it before it sold
