Duncan JB users.. 500k or 250k pot?

So I put a duncan JB in my Kramer and I really liked it other than the ice-pickey highs it had if I didn't roll off my amps treble. So I swapped in a 250k volume pot and it's much more EVH sounding, (even better than the EVH pickup I tried), but it kind of lacks some bite now. I cant decide weather to keep the 250 or switch back to the 500. What pots do you guys like with the JB?

You could always strap a resistor in parallel with the 500k pot, to bring it down to around 350k and maybe that would give you enough bite but none of the ice pick highs?

750k resistor across the outer lugs of the 500k pot will give you 300k. Try that.

I use a 250k and think it's teh '80s big time

Use a 500k pot......but swap out the A5 magnet for an A2.
