I agree with the awesomeness. Used them for a while and loved them. But around me I have to special order them. I always wait tot the last minute so now Im back to tortex.

Jimmy Dunlop pulled a few Ultex sharps from his pocket handed them to me and said:

"these will change your life!"

I laughed but he was right, been playing them ever since.

I found the Ultex to have a lot of high end plink in them, if you want it that's great, but they ended up being to bright for me over all.

Funny...that's the exact opposite of my experience with them. I've found them to have a smoother, less "plucky" sound to them. I like them for leads but not as much for crisp rhythmic work (I use Pickboy Metacarbonite for that).

Tried some but i like regular Jazz III's better, and also those White Cool pics.
