If he grew a big bushy mustache, he would look really close there. I wasn’t much for Frank’s guitar playing but Dweezil definitely got something from the folks he hung around.
That solo is so off the cuff, spontaneous, doesn't really spell out any particular 'shapes' on the neck... that's gotta be super, super hard to break down and recreate that accurately. Big thumbs up here.
Agree - he nails it all on here. He should have been a bigger name in music. I almost think that his association with his Father hurt him. I recall getting his first record after reading a review of it in Guitar World back then. I liked it and liked and loved that green Charvel ha. Then he did the band with his brother and it was back to weirdness.
