Ehhhh...it's a collectible.

To me, it's no different than paying 50k for a vintage strat, or 250k for an LP.

At least guitars/amps have some utility value; makes more sense to me than guys paying 1mm for a baseball card (well, marginally more sense)

They are right up the road from me. I went there with a friend and he bought a Gibson from there when we were in our early 20s. 15-20 min away. Its across the street from Bill Music.
