EDIT - Now with my REVIEW - Hagen has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!

SO,
If there was an application/sound/style that was more suited to the Herbert mkII, over the Hagen... what would that be in your opinion?
I have spent a little time with the newer Herb and a VH4 and the Herb is undeniably "bigger" sounding, but I was torn between them and then saw the announcement of the Hagen.

I guess where I am hearing the "bigness" in the Herb is really the fat bottom end. What you're saying makes total sense now. I am used to having to say that I want something that can do metal in order to get the gain that I'm looking for. But my version of metal isn't dropped B tuned or down tuned 8 string brootz, so I guess I'm not on the bleeding edge at this point. There are plenty of options for getting the gain now, it's just getting the desired voicing and, hopefully, a workable piece of hardware. I will just have to wait until Hagens are flowing and I can sit down with one and see if it fits. Thanks again for your excellent demo.
