I don't see anyone getting overly serious about it. I think it's great that Dan is a major gear slut And I doubt he gives a shit what anyone has to say about it I wish I could have the opportunity to play half the amps he has.

I'm gonna meet up with Dan and Motorpud next weekend. So far I had my hopes on checking out a VH4, Herbert, Bones, Meathead all of which are gone. Not sure what he'll have by the time next weekend rolls around but you can bet it's gonna kick ass

No, this is the worst place in the world to try and have anyone talk you out

I actually havent "BOUGHT" an amp in over 2 years.
Just trades.

Well......I take that back.
I sold my VH4S and bought a new Herbert.

But man.......have I had some Kick ass amps to say the least.
All I am really doing is trying to catch up to Brad King's Madness........

but i am not even close.

It's pivotal in figuring out your sound and what kind of gear you like. IMO everyone should whore out amps and/or guitars at some point, otherwise you're missing out on something that could potentially enrich your enjoyment of playing guitar

I am happy to have had the chance to own so many kick ass amps thru the years.
I know what I like.......and what I dont.
Thats the only way to know.
