I am no where NEAR the worst when it comes to flipping amps.
I am just the most public with it!

I have gone through my share I just cant flip 'em now, I keep buying and keeping 'em

Sorry Dan I'm still debating on the trade for my Create 20 solid state practice amp with 8 inch speaker for that Fortin. I know its a great deal but....

Here is what I have right now......

Rivera KR7 and a Block letter 5150.
WE played yesterday for 6 hours and I was going back and forth between both amps.
Each has its own strength and weakness.
It was incredible Jam session though to say the least.
Everything was fresh and focused.
Maybe just near gear brings new life to the set?
Cant wait till Saturday with the amp fest at my place!

Since I put the 6550s in I might have to take my VH4 off the market... TOTALLY different amp with the 6550s in there.

I was toying with GAS a while back...thinking a replacement for my current VH4S was kinda something I oughta consider. But each and everytime I play it, that GAS goes to the shitter. It's loaded with 6550's and as most people who own a V know, the thing just slays. I don't need looser, I don't need nu-metal, I don't need anything else from an amp of this style. It does everything and once the MV hits noon, it breathes fire... I love it. And regardless of "needs", I seriously just don't want anything else.

Just my 2 cents.

My problem is that I don't flip amps--I just buy them and then they get relegated to the back of the stack if they're not in active use.

Same with guitars... when I got to 50 I decided it was out of control... so I sold two... then promptly bought one...

It's a progressive disease...

Have you tried any of the Blackstar amps yet? I'm gonna be getting a HT-20 head in the next few weeks.. I may even save up for a Series One 100..

I have a FLIPPING Problem!!!

The 20 Space is storage for stuff i am not using. The Uber and Marshall are unhooked waiting for 2 4x12 cabs when I find them. The Mesa and Crate I had since the early 90's. I did sell of a lot of ADA, Carvin and other rack gear along with 14 guitars a few years ago and made a small mint to buy my Eggy amps and M4 to flip and get what I have now. I havent had any amp flipping gas since.
