They are kickass. I just got one a couple weeks ago and it rules. Build quality is great and it feels awesome to play on.

The 22 fret HSS models are discontinued now. That is what I got. There are a few left on digimart though.

Is the heel square, or sculpted on those?

I am in love with the 22 fret models..... 24 frets, not so much. Although I do like the matching headstock.
I have heard nothing but good things about the build quality and sound of them...
I reaaaalllyyy want one of those aque marine/maple 22 fret models... hell now I want the blue 24 fret model also

I prefer 22 frets to 24 frets because they seem to be more comfortable for me too.... and the 24 frets kinda mess with the neck pickup

Sweet sweet guitars for a fantastic price.
Great bang for your buck.
Really solid construction, great unplugged tone, and they look the bomb.
The Duncan Custom is a perfect match in the bridge.
I'm not jiving with the Duncan single-coils, so I'll be changing them out soon.

Here's some half-finished songs of mine where I used the Custom in the bridge for all lead tones:

The first clip in particular (Jonestown Massacre Pt 1) has a very vocal 3d lead tone going on (starts about a couple minutes in after the heavy intro).

And here's some Snapper porn I posted in the "RT's show the HCAF's your rigs" thread:

Edwards has super consistent build quality.
I don't think you'd be dissapointed if you decided to pull the trigger on it.
The Snapper is my fourth Edwards guitar, and I plan on aquiring more down the track.

I played just about every Edwards made when I was in Japan and they all were great. If I didn't already have 4 Gibson LPCs I would have bought an Edwards. There were some really nice ones there.

You guys are killing me. As a broke ass college student I haz no monies for anymore guitars..... but now I want both of those snappers and the Jon Sykes edwards LPC

GAS is cruel...

Where does everyone usually get there edwards guitars from and how much do they typically cost? I've always been interested in getting one but its pretty hard to find info on them.

I was lucky enough to get mine in Japan but there quite a few on ebay. Not many Snappers there but a lot of LPs. I would also watch the forum classifieds as I have seen a number of them come up there over the years.

BTW, if any of you haven't picked up Gavin's cd yet, you seriously need to check it out, it freakin' ROCKS!

I've always wanted to get their explorer or maybe a les paul but I'm worried about the shipping costs and various duties for bringing it into the country I really don't think it would be worth it.
