Does anyone know what the Egnater branded tubes, especially the preamp tubes found in the Tourmaster are? I know they're from Groove Tubes but obviously they're just rebranded tubes from some factory. So what are they? Sovtek? JJ? Chinese? My guess would be Chinese since that's where the amps are made but who knows.

I am assuming since they use Sovtek's in all of the US made amps, that they are rebranded 'hi-spec" Sovtek tubes.

Thanks for the replies. JJ ECC83S eh..guess I might have to try how my Tourmaster likes a Svetlana/SED 12AX7 (sadly out of production :() and a GT 12AX7M in some of the gain stages because that works really nicely with my Diezel Einstein that also has JJ ECC83S tubes (Ruby branded ones) in it otherwise.

For reference, Chinese tubes are super easy to identify. They have these silver things on each side of the plates.

That is, if they don't already say CHINA on them.
