I know where all biased here but here goes
Has anyone had an opportunity to play both? I know different speaker cabinets (2x12, 4x12, 1x12) will sound different even with the same speaker, but to me the difference between a 4x12 and 2x12 was relatively small when compared to the difference between a 1x12 and a 2x12. I'm thinking a larger 1x12 might get me closer to the sounds I'm more familiar with.
The Egnater os 1x12 seems to be about as big as the tourmaster 2x12, and that's a great sounding cabinet. I've also heard some good reviews about the port city os 1x12, with it's unique design. Actually, do you think a TM 2x12 plugged only into one speaker would give me an approximate idea to what the egnater os 1x12 would sound like?
Am I chasing my tale trying to find a 1x12 that will give get me really close to the sound of at least a 2x12? For those of you who have had or have the large eggie 1x12, care to share your thoughts? if you got rid of it, would you mind sharing your reasoning?
