LOL... I blew off my last appointment and went to my parents's house for dinner/refuge/"Tweaking"

= bad joke = FAIL on me... oh, and I am leaving it there for a while so that I can claim "osmosis" when it finally comes home. Truth be told, my fiance is very cool about my gear addiction. I don't touch money allocated for things like food and heat, so it's not a real issue (and no, she isn't standing behind me as I type)...Swear...
First impressions - Little monster, for sure. Definitely enough for gig volumes... The loop in this amp is just great. I setup my new "grab-n-go" with a Redeemer buffer, Wizard Wah, Keeley 4 button, BBE up front and M9 in the loop. Very very nice when you push the master past 6/7. Really opens it up. I definitely like it better as a clean breakup amp than for flat out distortion. But, that's also my ears in general. The 3rd channel of a EG3/4 is about as heavy as I go.
The 1x12 is very cool. The cabinet is tight and doesn't rattle at full volume. I am just not a fan of celestions in general. I know you guys rave about scumbacks. We'll see. Truthfully, I don't know if I'll keep the cab. But, I am going to give it a fair trial with a broken in speaker first.
What I really love, is that I tried it with a 3rd gen. dead room, and it is almost silent even on 6/7. Definitely going to fill the late night headphone practice.
I'm sitting in with my buddie's band tomorrow night for a few songs. If they record the gig, I'll upload a few sounds (even flubs) if anyone cares to hear it with a band.
