Einstein - Year of construction

I have an Einstein with the serial number 002/016.

How could I find out, how old the amp ist?

Appears it should be a 2005 model year 50W Einstein.

My new Einstein is # 414 ...so I quess Peter has build about 400 pieces the last 5 years.

Prefix 002 is for 50W Einstein and prefix 003 is for 100W Einstein. So, there are at least 414 50W Einstein's
in the world.

You could be right, but Diezel might as wel count also the 100watt version in the serial number. I mean 400 pieces is a lot. My VH4 (prefix 04) from 2004 is number 400. This means 400 pieces in 10 year. This would make the Einstein a huge succes compared to the VH4. Because they would have made 400 pieces of the 50watt version in only 5 years.
