Eleven Rack & Holdsworth

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about how Allan is using the 11 Rack which he has on tour with him? He has been quoted saying the following:

"As you probably know I have worked for a number of years with "modeling" amps of various kinds including plug ins, however, I have to say that the Eleven Rack is quite extraordinary; it's absolutely my favorite!" ”

As I said, it is in his rack on tour, not at home. It matters to the extent that I (and others) am curious to know the range of the unit.

beats me..last time i saw him was tone merchants...all yamaha-the preamp, 2 dg-80 combos, and piles of magic boxes and it sounded as good as i've ever heard him, perfect holdsworth tone, except for this weird fizzy noise he got when trying to mute for tuning

Interesting.........................if the lord seth Vai had that rig you would use your palate of wordsmithing to create this rendering of an unkept shaman trying to drum up donations while beating on 5 gallon mayonese containers wearing Pia Zadora's wardrobe.

honestly, it doesn't excite me much



this one however peaks my interest (the vox not the cornball )

its not as complex as far as on board PC interfacing but it beat its in tone hands down IMHO

hmmmmmmmmm, Maybe not for rock/ metal, but his early IOU/ROAD GAMES tones were the shit as far as fusion goes IMO.
