Would a Suhr Aldrich humbucker work in the bridge position of a Strat?

I have an Aldrich pickup in the bridge of my Suhr Modern, and sounds fantastic. Alder body, so pretty Strat like. My favrote passive pickup currently.

I play EC-1000s with EMGs, and my backups are usually EC-401s, or an EC-500, all EMG. I played a friends EC-256 AVB, with the stock LH-150s, or whatever, and I loved it, so I bought one. The one I bought had SD Blackouts in it, and they are fucking horrible. I am in no way a "swapping-pickups-out-all-the-time/impedance/ohms/multi-meter guy, but I think they may have been installed incorrectly. They are noisy as shit, but it's weird. They're noisy in a way that any touch, however light, on a wound string, gives off a HUGE fucking noise. It's difficult to pull pinch harmonics out of them as well. The "smoking gun" (I think) for the "not installed properly" is the fact that the volume pots are backwards, as in the pot for the bridge PU controls the neck PU, and vice-versa. Have any of you guys seen this? There is no fucking way I could play that thing live. It looks awesome up on the wall, though.....

The Blackouts were just way too hot for me, and I love hot pickups. Too much low end as well that clouds the lower registers. (The Mick Thompsons improved on that). EMG had it right the first time, sits much easier in a mix.
