first heard of him way back on Vai's Sex & Religion release - thought he had some pipes for sure.

His heavier stuff is pretty darn good - watched some stuff yesterday. Then pulled up on Pandora, which usually plays artists "similar" to the one you select - well the first 3-4 songs were all Devin Townsend or SYL as they're not much music like his

This guy is a weirdo but absolutely hilarious, talented, and has a killer voice! Going between cookie cutter and clean vocals he can do it all with control of his range while banging out fast riffage. The stuff he says right before the solo is classic. What a personality.
