Engl Invader II noise gate

Engl Invader II noise gate turns off when changing channels after turning amp on & I have to keep turning it back on. Any one know why?

Noise gate is midi switchable - so I'd say whatever you have saved as a midi preset (be it on or off) will switch back to the original setting when you change it if you don't save it.

In my Invader 1, after turning on the amp, I switch to a channel that's not channel 1/clean and turn the noise gate on. One button push.
Everytime I switch to the clean channel, it auto-turns off and turns on again when switching to a crunch/drive/lead channel. Effin' brilliant methinks!

Wouldn't the Invader 2 work the same?
