Thanks to Josh Sage for hooking me up.

Pretty cool amp but it's taken me a couple of hours of tweaking to get the high gain tones I like. Right now I am liking it more than the Invader 100 I had. I will do more in depth when I have had more time with it......So far so good.

Nice cleans -but not CAA OD100 nice- very nice crunch on channel 1 'high gain' and channel 2 high gain is good but I found channel 3 with low gain on and the gain dimed and low mids 1 and high mids 1 'scooped' is the best detuned riff tones I have found so far. Channel 3 with high gain on gets smooth and flubby if you're not careful- it's tricky to dial in...like channel 4 of the Invader but not as bad.

Maybe some clips and a head to head a/b with the Nitro are in order.

Looks nice!

Have you owned a SE before? If so how do you think it compares to the Morse?

Thanks guys...it's taken awhile to get the tones but I am finding them. Very cool amp. Here is a quick clip of some of the high gain tones...I will post more and with better audio and some better riffs instead of just wankage in the next few days. Channel 3 on 'low gain' with gain maxed and low mids 1 and high mids 1 at 10 oclock-'scooped'

MMPetrucci guitar and a Carvin Legacy V-30 cab.

Never owned the SE but had an Invader 100 which I sold to get this. Only engl I played before that was the Savage and I did not like that at all. The Invader and this are cool, though. I'm diggi'n' it.

Thanks bro. Yeah, I am diggin' it. Nice to have another amp in the house. Not that the Nitro is a slouch, just that I'm an amp whore. :D

Variety is the spice of life.

That clip sounds great! I'm sure the tones will get better as you learn the amp as well. It took me a good month to get my SE singing the way I like it. Congrats on a killer amp!

I should have Mine next week, I sure hope its not like the invaders I owned and played, I had a invader 150 and it had a problem and I exchanged it but in the breif time I had it I didnt like it, I also had a invader 100 and after a couple weeks I got rid of it.

So far my fav engl amps are the engl se,powerball and savage.
I those models and they were great and from the clips derek made I think the morse model is gonna be a winner.

I will check out the clip in this thread when I get home.

Thanks guys....yeah, it took me awhile to get the tones in the video. Too many controls!
With the Invader 100 it was pretty much instant but this is totally different. The cleans sound a little more 'chimy' and a better boosted gain on channel 1 on the Morse and channel 2 sounds like channel 2 of Invader but less flubby. Channel 3 does its own thing. I miss the Invaders channel 3 aggressive tone but so far the Morse is working out for me.

I will do some more clips with hopefully better tones once I get it down. So far so good.
