Engle XXL back panel removal?

Do these come off? I removed the screws from the back panel and even removed the side handle to try and pound on the back panel from the inside with a hammer and no dice! this thing is on there!

I emailed Engl about this but no response. I bought it new. anyone have advice? are they glued on?

Not sure why you need the back panel off. Speakers are front loaded.

I thought most ENGL cabs had sealed backs, like VHT
