- On the JP the neck is nice and thin, one of my first guitars was an old Charvel. I played that for the longest time, so I have always been partial to a thinner neck.
- I can't stand the old rotary pickup selector on my PRS's. The pickup switch on the JP is in a natural and convenient location. I was glad to see that PRS has moved away from the rotary switch.
- The piezo pickup on the JP lets you get some really nice clean tones.
- I like the feel of the tremelo bridge on the JP better. Also the trem bar feels more substantial than the PRS trem bar.

Then, my Amber quilt one, has jumbo stainless frets and PV wolfgang USA pickups in it (The stock bridge pickup died, and like a dumbass I didn't get it repaired and lost it). The Wolfgang pickups give a hotter tone though, and it is nice to have two different sounds. Both have D-tuna's on them. Best guitars I have ever owned.
