Hi everyone,
I have an opportunity to purchase an Ernie Ball jr volume pedal for a good price but I want to make sure it'll work as an expression pedal with the Voodoo labs ground control pro midi controller. Any ideas ?

All the seller could find on the pedal it self is B06225. Seller has pics of the pedal that I've attached here if they help.

Thanks

You should be able to use a male TRS-->2x male TS splitter to use it as an expression pedal.

Thank you for the info. So can I just get pretty much any volume pedal for this to work? or do they have to meet certain specs?

Thanks

Generally an expression pedal input is going to be TRS, so yeah any volume pedal with in/out jacks should be usable. You may just have to swap between the jacks depending on what the Ground Control is expecting, and you may have to adjust the taper within the Ground Control. I know a lot of people use the Ernie Ball volume pedals for this exact purpose. A quick search shows a lot of info around configuring this on Voodoo's forums.

Perfect. Thank you very much.

What’s a good price? I have one I’m not using much and would sell it for a good price.

$50 CAD... which works out to be under $40 USD.

I use one with a helix, just use the out with a ts cable
