Evans pickups?

Hey all - going through my parts bin, I can across a Hot lead eliminator 2 evans HB, and a hot Rhythm single coil that I forgot I had. Anyone have experience with these? Debating on swapping them into one of my guitars...

I have 3 axes with Evans pickups, big fan here, you love the way the E2 splits if you choose to wire it that way. Notable Evans users; Alex Lifeson, the late Jeff Healey (he's using evans afaik in the movie Roadhouse).

Thanks Andy. Is it also suitable for heavier stuff, or is it "just" suited for bluesier/cleaner stuff?

I wouldn't call them heavier stuff pickups but if you have the right amp, maybe you'll get what you're looking for..... Shielding the guitar improves the performance vastly.
