The video about Andy is just the tip of the iceberg. While seeing him play, my mind when through something like this:

"cool, he can play good...wait a minute...why does is sound easy?...no way... ... ... ..."

more or less...
now I'm gonna go rip some strings...

Andy rips big time, as usual. It was like that 20 yrs ago when I met him, it still is today. He knows his shit and he's too humble, really, you'll never hear him brag about it... Like Nephalim said, this only the tip of the iceberg, the dude can play...

And Steve is an awesome player too, for those who did not know, this dude was part of April Wine in the beginning of the 90s and still works with many well known musicians here in Quebec. He knows his shit too...

Btw, Nephalim, good to have you here bro!

 Damn Steve, I thouroughly enjoyed that clip. You got to ease up man. You got all the geese flying back north thinking it is summer already with that wicked little run or two you walked on.   Hey, I need to give Josh Sage, Greazy Geo, and You, a big thumbs up also for constantly telling me about the Wizards. Just outstanding sick azz tone. You looked most comfortable running along with your licks. So does the amp kinda layout there as far as playability? I know you're playing speaks for itself but the amp kinda seems to be helpfull instead of fighting ya. Thanks again for the clip. Hey post some more. Damn, I was supposed to be there....Look at what I missed.

Love the palm suck of the pick at 00:14 to fingerstyle transition - warm tone to the bone

I was thinking the same thing. Very cool stuff!

Very cool video Mark!
Steve is one hell of a player and so is Andy!
I loved trying the Suhr and all the amps that he brought along.

Thanks guys,
Andy knows every song in the world
...that's cause when you don't sing, you learn all the songs you wanted to play AND the band's repertoire :D

Sorry for the clams and extra rubrato..... the excess pepperoni in my tummy was playing dominoes

For you tonehounds, that was a Suhr Modern, mahogany neck and body, Aldrich PU's, a brand new Cornford Roadhouse 50 Head into a CAA cab loaded with McGourty speakers, uber wiring and deflex panels. The amp had the gain channel on 8ish, EQ at noon, with the volume backed down on the neck PU (split) about 60% for the srv segment and then the bridge full up for the rest. The amp on top is an Elmwood m90, Diezel Vh4 below, a Valvetrain Concord to the right and a Roadhouse 30 combo to the left. The dewalt is Mark's and I chose not to use it for fear of Paul Gilbert comparisons ;) ;) . The iphone is on the Suhr 10th anniversary case because istrobosoft for iphone is my new favorite gizmo
