Ever had an amp go dark?

dude-don't discount modelers. they are a lot of fun. people tend to look down on the line 6 stuff but for me it was fine. It might not be exact, but you can find a ton of usable tones. Some contributors to their patch libraries are geniuses.

I don't have any problem with anyone who decides to use them. I'm just not interested in them at all unless I were in a bind. It runs counter to everything I like about electric guitar. It's a different world that I am not ready to accept.

High wattage Speakers with thicker Cones are generally darker IMO..
